In the typography class I took in 2009, one of our assignments was to create a cook book recipe. We could choose any recipe we wanted and create a layout for it. This was one of my favorite projects in this class because we had the freedom to create any layout style was saw fit.
My design process for this project focused on trying new layouts and incorporating new ideas. I played around with many different ideas, some of which were successful, and others that were not. After spending much time on this project, I created a few different layouts that depicted the cook book recipe as I saw fit. A few of these examples are depicted below.
